Pierre-Emmanuel BELUCHE

Investment Director, Africa and Europe, Meridiam

Pierre-Emmanuel Beluche joined Meridiam as Investment Director in March 2022, where he is responsible for infrastructure projects in Africa and Europe. He is a Member of the Supervisory Board of Raxio Group, Africa’s leading carrier-neutral Data Center operator, and Board Member at LISEA, the South-Europe Atlantic (SEA) High-Speed Rail concession in France.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Pierre-Emmanuel Beluche served in the French Ministry of Finance for about a decade. He joined the Treasury in 2013 as Deputy Head of Unit for Sub-Saharan Africa, where he held various mandates on Board Committees at the French Agency for Development (AFD) and PROPARCO. In 2015, he moved to Agence France Trésor (AFT), as Head of Market Operations, in charge of executing the State’s Funding Program. In 2017, he was appointed Executive Director for Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, Board Member and then Chair of the Audit Committee. Back to the Treasury in 2020, in the Financial Services Department, he took over as Head of Unit for Sustainable Finance, Corporate Law, Accounting Standards and Corporate Governance.

 

Prior to this, Pierre-Emmanuel Beluche worked in the Investment Banking industry at BNP Paribas – Fortis in 2008-2009, in the Equity Derivatives Unit.

Pierre-Emmanuel Beluche holds a Civil Engineer Degree and Master of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech (2008). He is also an alumnus of Sciences Po Paris (2010) and Ecole nationale d’administration (2011-2012).
